Greater Hope Ministries would like to thank all that supported our 1 Year Anniversary Service, Celebrating With Excellency. Pastor and Lady Johnson expressed to the committee that they wanted to cross over diocese, district and denominational barriers and all of that was accomplished. We had different diocese and denomination that was represented on the program and they all did an excellent job. Words cannot express the joy that is being felt throughout. Pastor and Lady Johnson are being inundated with calls about the service as well as other members of Greater Hope Ministries.
Our very own District Elder Maurice Carter, Pastor of Crystal Cathedral Ministries, preached a message “Get Ready for a Transfer” coming from the book of Joshua 1:1-8. Elder Carter spoke blessings over Greater Hope Ministries. Elder Earl Dudley, Pastor Right Way Church, had words of encouragement which came from the same book and scripture. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established. Elder Clarence Coleman, Pastor of Burdens Lifted Church, was the Master of Ceremonies for the evening. The dynamic duo, Bro. James Montaque and Sis. Jacinta Vincent from Miracle Church were the devotional leaders. Elder Woodrow Thomas from Victory Tabernacle Church read the Old and New Testaments. A wonderful dance came from the Angels of Hope from Greater Hope Ministries which consisted of the mime and the praise dancers. The recording artists Sounds of Joy came with a selection and the Crystal Cathedral Ministries Choir came with a selection. The musicians came from House of Prayer and Refuge Temple Alberta.I say the diocese, district and denominational barriers were crossed over. Greater Hope Ministries realize if we sow support; we get support.
Comments are being made on how different ones felt the genuine love that was being displayed and the liberty to praise the Lord at Greater Hope Ministries. We have learned of the different healings that took place. Saints expressed that they love Greater Hope’s motto: We are not concerned about your past; but we are concerned about your future.
Pastor and Lady Johnson want to express to Greater Hope Ministries congregation that they did an awesome job. Words cannot express the love they have for the congregation. The gifts that were given were well appreciated. Greater Hope Ministries presented Pastor Johnson with a robe that spoke volumes; everyone in the audience was in awe. The robe has interchangeable cuffs, collar, and sash in the back. Pastor Johnson can also put strips in the pleats to have different colors displayed between the pleats. Pastor you look good in that robe.
Bishop and Mother Hargrove were able to help us celebrate our very 1st Year Anniversary Service. Bishop Hargrove stated, "He has never seen a 1 Year Anniversary Service like this before." Lady Johnson’s comment, “What a difference a year makes.” Pastor Johnson’s comment, “One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.”
We must express that all of this is the Lord’s doing and all the honor and glory goes to Him. Pastor & Lady Johnson often express they would not have gone out into ministry; but they were pushed into ministry. We are glad that the Lord pushed them out into ministry. The Lord made sure we started of the New Year with joy; Greater Hope Ministries thank the Lord for doing just that.
