June has certainly started out as being anything less than remarkable. Nine of the saints that have started out in ministry have been baptized in Jesus name. Five of the saints have received the Holy Ghost since the doors of the church have been opened. Two of the saints received the Holy Ghost through house to house bible study. Others of Greater Hope Ministries either came in already baptized in Jesus name or either came in with the Holy Ghost. We have quite a few that we are still praying that the Lord will equip them with both.
June 9 Bro. Antonio Davis Sr. received the Holy Ghost during Wednesday Night Prayer. We danced and shouted all we knew how because that is something to dance and shout about. Bro. Davis is a very shy person but when the Holy Ghost came in we certainly heard him. On Wednesdays, we pray and expect something to happen. Some have gotten so comfortable in coming to prayer and not opening their mouths; one can hear a pin drop. Saints you have to open your mouth and pray. We at Greater Hope Ministries get around the altar and call on that name JESUS. If you are afraid to pray because someone may hear you; just maybe you are at the wrong place. Greater Hope’s Bible Study is no longer called “Bible Study” it is “Wonderful Wednesdays”.
