“Are You a Voluptuous or a Virtuous Woman?” was the topic of the woman’s brunch held Saturday, March 12, 2011.  The brunch was held at the Shoney’s located in Chester, VA off of Ironbridge and Jefferson Davis Highway.  The topic struck conversations pertaining to the characteristics that a woman should have and the mannerisms that she should maintain.  It was very informative to learn the difference between a voluptuous and virtuous woman and how the bible defines the two.  It allowed me to evaluate myself and see what areas I could improve in.  It is very valuable information for me to know as a single woman to know what my role is as a woman and a wife.  It validates it to have scripture to support it as well.  Many women have conformed to society and situations have caused them to be hardened and confused however it is my responsibility as a woman of God to uphold my role in his kingdom work by displaying the characteristics in my life so that I may be a willing vessel to minister to other women in that area.  I appreciated the information and the opportunity to fellowship together as women.

Praise The Lord! I thank God for the workshop we had this past weekend.  Are you a Voluptuous or Virtuous Woman. The workshop led by Lady Johnson was and is  a much needed  class. Often times we as women think our strength is in our independence, and outer beauty, we get so wrapped up in being a "strong woman" that we forget what true strength really is. This class gave us the opportunity to really take a deep and honest look at ourselves and see where we stand voluptuous or virtuous.

After the class I went home  and applied the principles of a virtuous woman and I saw instant results when you are obedient to God everything else starts to line up in your life. Obedience is better than sacrifice. I am a witness when we get back in the true nature that God created us as women we are being obedient and by being obedient we reap the reward. It is my prayer that we are able to reach more women with this message so that we can break old mindsets and old habits that keep us from living in the true glory that God has created us. Last Saturday  I was encouraged, uplifted and inspired!

PTL….the women workshop was good for me in a lot ways. It really has opened my eyes how important men are and the bible clearly shows that we need each other. Since that workshop my household has changed; I have respect even more in doing my job as a wife. I thank you Pastor Johnson and 1st Lady “J” for being my leaders and I love you both!
