Words can not express what the Lord has done for Greater Hope Ministries for the month of May. On Pentecost Sunday, May 23 at the House of Prayer, The Thundering Sons came together and they made it thunder. The Thundering Sons consisted of Elder Clarence Coleman pastor of Burdens Lifted Church, Elder Stefan Johnson Sr. pastor of Greater Hope Ministries, Elder Christopher Goode Sr. pastor of House of Prayer as well as Little Rock Church, Minister Kevin Scott soon to be pastor of Rehoboth Assemblies. The Lord put his stamp of approval on the service so much so that five souls went down in Jesus name and two received the gift of the Holy Ghost.
It really makes Pastor Stefan & Lady Julia Johnson hearts glad because the two souls that received the Holy Ghost are from Greater Hope Ministries. Three of the five souls that were baptized in Jesus’ name were from Greater Hope Ministries. It was not about one church being better than the other or having the best church; it was all about brethren coming together in unity. Psalms 133:1 “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” Acts 2:1 “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.”
Sis. Jennifer Lawton and Sis. De’Myra Gallo are the two souls that received the Holy Ghost. Sis. De’Myra Gallo, Bro. Malik Davis and Bro. Marquis Davis are the three souls that went down in Jesus’ name. Bro. Malik and Bro. Marquis Davis are the sons of Sis. Jennifer Lawton. Sis. Jennifer Lawton has an older son Bro. Demond Davis who received the Holy Ghost back in January 2010 and was baptized in Jesus name in February 2010; now she just waiting for her husband to receive the Holy Ghost and it is going to happen.
Sis. Jennifer Lawton also testified on May 31, 2010 that she was to have surgery on her rotary cuff but now she does not have to have surgery. GLORY BE TO GOD FOR THE GREAT THINGS HE HAS DONE!!!!
