OMG! October started off with an explosion. Sis. Nevelle said she was tired of the way her life was going so she surrendered unto the Lord. She came with a willing heart and it did not take long before she received the gift of the Holy Ghost.She received the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the spirit gave the utterance. Sis. Nevelle not only received the gift of the Holy Ghost but she knew she had found the right place to worship.

OMG AGAIN! The Lord met us in a powerful way during the prayer line and many souls were touched and moved by the anointing of God. There was one particular individual by the name of Sis. Graham who received the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the spirit gave the utterance. She knew, that she knew, that she knew and realized that the Holy Ghost was not just a dance and shout.

Bro. Carter came in after visiting the previous Sunday and he wanted to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and so he did. He received the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the spirit gave the utterance. He also became a member of GHM. Bro. Davis completed the Lawton family all of them have been baptized and received the Holy Ghost; he was the fifth one to receive.
We give all honor and glory to the Lord; many have asked what we are doing for people to be coming in and receiving the Holy Ghost. If we could give the Holy Ghost away, we would; but we just believe along with the individuals. When all you have is the Lord and to concentrate on him he will definitely show His power. We know if we just stay focused on the Lord; he will continue to bless. Like the saying goes, "Don't get the big head." It is not of our goodness and mercy but God but GHM is only doing what the Lord say for us to do and we are excited about it.

Practically a brand new set of drums were delivered on a Saturday morning for Greater Hope Ministries worship service and all it cost GHM is a praise; we know we can deliver that command. Bro. Julius Johnson will be playing the drums.

It will be a year on 10/25/2010 when the Lord told us to, “Get Out.” The details of that day are under the history section. Greater Hope Ministries have been in ministry for 42 weeks and we know the doctors will not let women go past 42 weeks to deliver their babies and we definitely have been delivering babies. We were able to worship with Refuge Temple in Alberta, VA to celebrate their 42 Missionary Anniversary and Pastor Johnson spoke a word, “Your Water Just Broke” I dare you declare that, “MY WATER JUST BROKE!"
