Here at Greater Hope Ministries we endeavor to meet the needs of the whole man.
The ministry of helping to make one whole; deals with the fact of acknowledging that you are broken in certain areas of your life. The main priority is first to the spiritual man and then to the natural man. The spiritual equipping of the man will help establish and rebuild the natural man; this is done through a process of time. The key ingredients are prayer, fasting, meditation, worshipping, faithful living, being obedient to God’s word and being faithful to ministry. Success will come in stages and we will celebrate and encourage each stage of progress. Through you others will see and come and embrace the fact that there will be a need for changes in their lives.
Through the maturation of the man the gift or gifts in him will begin to be revealed in his life. Being able to operate in the gift fully is beneficial; when the man is whole and confident in how the Lord has equipped him. The equipped and established man will not become lazy or bored because he has submitted himself to the call and purpose of God in his life.
We believe in the operation of spiritual gifts in the church. The bible says to do everything decent and in order; so the operations of the gifts will not cause confusion, doubt, or misunderstanding. The gift first and only most of all will give glory to the only wise God our Savior Jesus Christ.
We will establish that everyone will have a purpose for ministry regardless of their pedigree. When confidence is in who resides in you and not in your flesh; the power of God will impact your life.
The word hope is wrapped around a few other words that impact every believer’s life. Romans 5:1-5 says: Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
A. Tribulation- we glory in tribulation
B. Patience- tribulation worketh patience
C. Experience- this is rendered through being patient
D. Hope- only through the experiences of patience and tribulation do we receive this
Once you have received hope you will not be broken. When you hope or have hope you are not ashamed of anything because you knew what it took for you to get where you are right now. Hope brings about great revelations in your life due to the fact that you have not seen all of whom you are capable of being in God. The bible says in Romans 8:24-25 if you see something already then there is no need for hope but if God told you that he is going to use you in a certain way and you have not seen it come to pass yet; then you still have reason to have hope. The bible says that if we hope for what we see not then with patience we wait for it. The hope that lies within you will be revealed.
Faith and charity are also companions of hope. This is where compassion for others will be revealed in you. Hope maketh you not ashamed; you will not feel bad about how you care for others and their needs.
Having hope will always win souls for Jesus Christ!!!!!!!
